just pushed: the generative garden-avatar spike from devlog #3 is live 🎋 every new haiku.garden member now gets a deterministic haiku/garden SVG scene, generated from their own DID, set as their real avatar across bluesky, blento, and plyr.fm.

Just sent out a bunch of invite codes. Here's what's new: sign-up doesn't dump you on a blank profile anymore, instead new members are taken on a tour now @plyr.fm , @blento.app , @roomy.space the weekly @naviarrecords.bsky.social haiku challenge, more coming... on @pckt.blog 🌱🌸

We changed the onboarding flow and it's hopefully easier now. All updates please see the devlog.

haiku.garden has a first version live — an ATProto home for the Naviar Haiku community. Sent the first invites out today: new members get a real portable identity and an auto-populated blento.app profile, not a blank page.

What's built, what's rough:

✅ SMTP works — no more fighting Google mail
✅ Signup → real blento profile (UX still rough)
✅ Caught blento's schema move mid-flight
✅ New pfp + banner

your home in the atmosphere 🌱

For example I am working on this really nice sonification by James @trayford.bsky.social using data of stars appearing on the night skies with the pitch mapped to the color of the star. Merging the Db6/9 chord used in the Jupiter notebook to my VCV-Rack patch.

**Work plan**

We grow naviar.haiku.garden as a bento styled site using @blento.app to make the results of Naviar Quiet Music Making Sessions visible, make the work sustainable and invite to document the process.

[haiku.garden] is an experiment in digital gardening by the Naviar Haiku community. We provide a personal data server (PDS) on the ATProto network that will be the home of your user identity and all your data.
