I am a French economist.
I am interested in personnel economics, social influence and the diffusion of opinion, the meta-science of economics (incl. open science), and (personnel) economics of defence.
I have resumed working on my PhD (more details here: https://o.simardcasanova.net/en/a-second-shot-at-a-phd/) at CEREFIGE at the University of Lorraine (Nancy, Lorraine, France). My PhD is funded by the ANR grant Wave (ANR-23-CE26-0021, https://anr.fr/Project-ANR-23-CE26-0021) and is supervised by Patrice Laroche (https://cerefige.univ-lorraine.fr/member/laroche-patrice/) and Anne Stévenot (https://cerefige.univ-lorraine.fr/member/stevenot-anne/).
I am also an adjunct professor at the Department of Law, Economics, and Management at the University of Lorraine and a junior partner and the consulting editor at Standard Error Research Editors (Chicago, United States, https://stderr-editors.com/).
