I've been revisiting an old career (sign design) while working on a project, and it's given me the opportunity to stop by a favorite corner of the internet - Debra Jane Seltzer's album of vintage signs, architecture, and attractions.

If you're into design (or roadside history) check it out.
[Me opening this app first thing in the morning and scrolling through the first few posts]: Mm...kay. Cool...cooool...

[Yeets phone into nearest body of water]

Logging off for the remainder. It's National Coffee Cake Day, so get off here and hit up Colossal! Gonna try to get over there later.
Holy shit the peanut butter eggs from Abdallah Candies are so good. Perfect ratio of peanut butter to chocolate shell.
3pm burrito? Don't mind if I do.
You know it's a school day when you can find an empty spot in the kids' lot at the park.

If all of the motivational posters in my high school had been replaced with this, it would have made me a better person.

Slept in my John Wesley Harding t-shirt and just woke up.
Gah, I’ve misinformationed on the internet! Apparently, this *was* part of one of the day’s organized marches - but it merged with a big enough crowd coming from the other side of 94 (that I was in) that I had no idea. A drawback of being 5’1” in a crowd is having zero context 😅

It’s hard to share the scale in photos, but to try to give an idea: I Ubered to the MN history center, not realizing John Ireland was closed to pedestrians. This group of people wasn’t one of the organized marches - just those of us crossing 94 to get to the Capitol.

A wouldn't really call this a brief "history" of the MTV Idents, but the video compilations in here are great. I desperately miss seeing weird little animated bumpers on tv channels. Nick, Cartoon Network and IGN all had some great ones too.
But are the kids still learning this, is what I want to know

Norovirus is still making the rounds and it's just as miserable as everyone says. Take care, out there! On Day 3, so it's time for a sick day comfort watch of Ang Lee's Sense and Sensibility. Very much in the "Give me an occupation, or I shall run mad" stage of flu.

For a long time, mobile sites didn't work well for purchases (especially using safari on iOS) so I got into the habit of always using my desktop for purchases/forms - any more involved process I didn't want to have to start over.

Somebody said millennials usually use their laptops (instead of smartphones) for major purchases, including booking flights. I can’t stop thinking about this.
