![Output from my Hermes agent on Discord:
“Stripping out the Al announcements, the main non-Al news was:
• Windows Search gets quick actions: You'll be able to use taskbar Search to change settings, adjust your screen, arrange windows and send messages without opening another app. The first version is starting to roll out to Windows Insiders; the optional Copilot integration is separate, so l've left it out. [1]
• More Windows-on-Arm gaming: Microsoft highlighted graphics teatures including ray tracing and DirectStorage, and says Gears of War: E-Day will use a new shader-delivery feature intended to cut first-launch shader compilation from minutes to seconds. Call of Duty is planned for RTX Spark PCs in 2027.[1]
• Surface Laptop Ultra details: Pre-orders opened at $2,599, with availability from October 16. General hardware highlights include a 15-inch HDR touchscreen, a larger haptic touchpad, magnetic USB-C charging, and a broad port selection including HDMI, USB-A and a full-size SD card reader. |21|3]
That's the non-Al-filtered version; most of the event's other announcements were specitically about Al features or Al-focused hardware.”](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:4hawmtgzjx3vclfyphbhfn7v/bafkreih5kezmcox2ygbjbfvjl7lpsrhzorevz5t62yeqm5z37ldyubguny)
